the pan series is very eye catching and reminds me of that drawing you posted on cliusterflock
the same sense is in it same feel
that got me excited it was the one where you talked or werid fiction at the edges
Hey, Jack. I hope you are feeling better. I am pleased to be drawing because I'm sure not doing any writing. The poems come to me very rarely nowadays. Maybe I'm not paying enough attention. Thanks as always for the encouragement.
I do love the myths. I was reading Graves yesterday about the Hephaestus thing--seems both Hera and Zeus got after him at one point or another! Graves also explains away the Pan death as a misunderstanding of grammar. Hmmm.
Keep on drawing as the Muse allows. Those last two drawings you posted--the faces--are marvelously expressive.
Pan has a way of doing that to folk.
I wish I could recall where it was I read that authentically Pan-ic fear is associated traditionally with that time of day 'round high noon. That's certainly been my experience.
