An odd mix

Yesterday I worked on a weird mix of drawings. I'm still trying to find a way to do a somewhat identifiable "self-portrait" or caricature. Maybe I'll get there one of these days. This first "went wrong" quickly and so I turned it into an anonymous head.

This might be a little closer, but mostly it's just an experiment in using the "dry media brush" in Photoshop Elements.

This is, well, a window in a wall.

I also worked on two "sociopolitical" statements, which I'm calling "fundamentalist nudes": here they are.

th guy with the glasses is very good
have to think of what picasso said
when some said his potrait of stien
didnt look like her
he said it will
noew we remeber her just the way he painted g.stien

i dont think on any of hockneys
recent small potraits the sitters like them
but hey whats not to like the sitters are just props and are to be ignored
go with the inner fealing of the look it will come right

i like also the crossing on the bodies
like that a lot you are thinking
and thats an additional eye in art

its alo going well cooper

Cooper: a quick one just to let you know I'm here (wherever here may be) and checking out Blixenbloxen regularly.

Thanks! It means a lot to many that folks are looking at these things with "eyes that see" (and see a lot more than I do.)
